The Degree Courses prizes will be given to students who obtained the Ist rank in their subjects in all the in-semester and end- semester examination held upto that date.

10.2.1 PROF. RAGHUVIR SAHAI SAKSENA PRIZE FUND

One silver medal to be given each year to a student of commerce who secures the highest percentage in all the semester examinations up to sixth semester combined

10.2.2 THE SAMIRENDRA NATH CHATTERJEE PERPETUAL MEMORIAL BURSE

Rs. 1000/- yearly to be used for the benefit of a deserving student selected by the Principal in consultation with the English Department.

10.2.3 THE ANURADHA CHOUDHARY MEMORIAL PRIZE

Rs. 1000/- to the best student of History Honours according to all semester examinations up to sixth semester combined.

10.2.4 THE ANANDA SHANKAR CHAKRAWARTI TRUST FUND

One medal each for table tennis and cricket.

10.2.5 SHRI A.K. MUKHERJEE AWARD

Rs. 500/- to a meritorious students, in B.Sc. on the basis of last two semester examinations. (one odd semester and one even semester, in one academic year)

10.2.6 PROF. IMAM MEMORIAL AWARD

One silver medal to the B.A. student who secures the highest aggregate in all the semester examinations up to sixth semester combined in Geography Honours.

10.2.7 PROF. IMAM MEMORIAL MEDAL

One silver medal to the student in semester V who secures the highest aggregate in III & IV semesters combined in Geography Honours.

10.2.8 TIBREWAL SCHOLARSHIP

(a) Rs. 2000/-to the student who secures the highest aggregate in Physics Honours in all the semester examinations up to six semester combined.

(b) Rs. 2000/- to the student who secures the highest marks in the Physics Honours in the first two semester examinations.

10.2.9 DR. S.B. SRIVASTAVA MEMORIAL AWARD

(a) Rs. 1000/- to the student of English Honours who secures the highest marks in the first two semester examinations.

Rs. 500/- To the student of English Honours who secures the highest marks in English in the III & IV semester examinations combined.

10.2.10 PROF. G.B. SHAH MEMORIAL AWARD

Rs. 1000/- to the student of English Honours who secured the highest marks in the III & IV semester examinations combined.

10.2.11 EARTH SCIENCE AWARD

One Silver Medal to be given to a deserving student of Geology Honours in semester VI selected by the Principal in consultation with the Department of Geology (donation by Dr. Navin Kumar).

10.2.12 PROF. JAGANNATH CHAKRAVARTY GOLD AWARD

A golden medal to the students of B.Sc. Mathematics Honours who obtains the first position in all the semester examinations up to six semester combined.

A silver medal to the ST/SC student of mathematics who obtains the first position in all the semester examinations up to six semesters combined.

Rs. 1000/- to a ST student of English Honours on the basis of all the semester examinations up to six semester combined. Rs. 1000/- to a ST student of Geography Honours on the basis of all the semester examinations up to six semester combined.

Rs. 2000/- to the student of B.Sc. Physics Honours in V semester on the performance in III & IV semester examinations.

10.2.16 A ROTI DEY AWARD

Rs. 2000/- to the best student of B.Sc. Mathematics Semester V on the basis of his/her performance in semesters III & IV combined.

10.2.17 PROF. NIRENDRA NATH GHOSH MEMORIAL AWARD

Rs. 4000/- to be given to a deserving and economically weak student of B.Sc. Physics Honours in semester VI on the result of his semester I-V examinations.

Rs. 4000/- to a deserving ST/SC student of Chemistry Honours studying in semester III on the basis of performance in semester I & II examination.

Award. Rs. 6000/- each to the students who obtained the highest marks in the examination of Semester I-IV combined in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology and Biotechnology is economically forward.

Rs. 6000/- to be given to a meritorious students of Computer Applications. - Rs. 6000/- to be given to a meritorious students of Information Technology.

Rs. 5000/- to be given to a student of M.A. Hindi who obtained the highest rank in the examinations of Semester I-V.

Rs. 5000/- to be given to the best students of B.A. Economics Honours studying in Semester VI on the results of the examinations of Semester I-V.

Dr. Narendra Jaggi is and old student of physics Department and presently teaches physics in the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA. He has instituted two prizes of 2000/- each in his name.

(a) A Prize of Rs. 2000/- to a Physics Hons. student of semester III/ IV securing second highest percentage of marks in semesters I and II combined

(b) A prize of Rs. 2000/- to a physics Hons. student of semester V/VI securing second highest percentage of marks in semesters III and IV combined.

Rs. 5000/- to the best BJMC graduate.

10.2.33 Raman Memorial Shield

A shield to each of the students of Arts, Science and Commerce securing highest percentage of aggregate marks in semesters I and II combined.
